I took a look at the picture in question. It was that of a crude person supposedly eating a fish. Only, what I just now realized is that I drew the fish just as big as the person, so it might have looked as though the fish was eating the person instead.
"You, technically, tabemasu still applies here." I responded, trying to make light of the situation. Though I sighed nonetheless. "I think I might want to hire out for a career artist for my teaching method, it might be more efficient."

“There is little need to go through such measures in my instruction. The drawings are rather…engaging.” I bobbed my head thoughtfully, indeed they were engaging in many a way, I’d miss his fanciful artwork if he thought better to hire someone to better illustrate the actions.
“Please.” I politely begged, “These will serve your purpose enough. Make use of them for my sake.”

"Well, we're almost done in any case." I put it out of my mind with the last thought that it would give me something to do later.
We went through the last couple. "Very good. We'll keep the lesson light today, and so I want to see what you retain next time you come to visit. Do you have any questions?" Now the test to see how well I did?

I considered the day’s lesson in restful pose, as much as I could retain in my knelt position then tilted my head curiously at him.
“I’m not minded to inquire further on my lesson though I desire to know, what say you on the matter of my cooking? Shall I add a hint more spice with the next meal I prepare for you?”

I blinked for a moment. "Oh, well," I thought on it. "It was rather good. Granted, I've been used to poor slop for the longest time, but still I enjoyed it." I smiled again. "Very much."
I rose, and helped her to her feet again, no doubt a little stiff. "I hope you don't mind the sitting, but I think it will pay off in the end."

I accepted his assistance with gratitude though I was slightly puzzled over his thoughts pertaining to the food I so diligently prepared earlier in the day. My lips pursed thoughtfully whilst I pondered, mayhap to deeply, upon his words.
With a small groan I stood then gently let my hand slip free of his to aright my clothing and stiff muscles. Kindly I smiled, leaving his comment aside to thank him.
“I naught mind the sitting, truly. I’ve learned much today and promise to practice each day so that I may dazzle you next lesson. Thank you.”

"Don't worry about it. What I could really hope for is that next time you come, you bring a friend or two. It would hopefully give you someone else to practice with," I said, giving her a wink.
I escorted her out of the room, and too the door. "It was a pleasure Oddette. Until I straighten out my scheduel, we might have to make do with longer meetings. How about the same time next week. I assure you, we can meet more often later."

“I’ll await a summons for the next meeting with great eagerness.” As he politely opened the door for my passing, I gave a curtsy then stepped lightly outside.
Before the door was secured behind me I turned a bit from my wanderings and added, “The meal will be better next time.” I promised with an infectious smile then continued on my way, repeating in my mind the day’s lesson as I took my leave.
