"You're very welcome. I would only have one advice - don't mention my name, and stick to protocol. She is... particular." In truth, I had no idea how the Lioness would receive him. She could be somewhat unpredictable.

I noded. "Thanks, though I think I will see what the Duchess has to say before I seek her out. Employ is one thing but I have to live with the family"

"Not necessarily, espescially if you stay in the city," I told him. I shrugged, "Don't worry, you will find something, no doubt. Fine blades are always in demand."
I stretched a little. "Would you care to stretch your legs a bit, and maybe see what this town has to offer?"

I inclinded my head and headed toward the wall where my weapons hung. "An excalent idea. I have been stuck on the boarder for so long I am of a mind to visit Valerian. Sadly most on the outskirts are not used to Shahrizai." Leaving the sword hang I calmly clipped the twin daggers to the backsides of either hip. Just where they would be if I needed them, but not overly combersome like the long blade.

I stood - my own blade had been at my side, as usual. I rarely removed it, save for fetes - it was cumbersome for dancing.
"Valerian?" I said with an arched brow, "It's been ages. Why not? Although - I'm like you, I like to steer clear of flaming rods. But I would certainly not mind sharing a delicious creature with you."

With a smile I simply made my way out the door with no further words until we were well outside. "Shall we walk or fetch the horses?"

I grinned mischievously. "It depends how eager you are to get to Mont-Nuit, though I wager you will prefer to ride," I replied.

"Then mounts it is" I simply replied and altered my steps to lead us to the stable. Upon entering I simply instructed the lad. "Bring the buckskin"
I folded my hands mildly in front of me a small predatory smile on my features as the lad hurried to do my bidding as well as gather my guest's horse. When he appeared the buckskin showed me how refreshed and grateful he was by trying to remove a large hunk of my shoulder. He got a backhand across the muzzle in response as I tookt he reigns.

My own Zenaib was brought, and as it was readied again, I pressed it, observing Gad's affections with his mount. Those two visibly went back a long way, I grinned to myself. We headed out of the stable, and we were off to Mont-Nuit, two lords, hungry for delightful flesh.

I swung into the saddle so easy anymore it was about like walking. I did not even bounce as i kept the weight on my toes in the stirips. Thugh I did give the buckskin's bit a sharp jerk when he tried to bite Seb's mount. Little wonder I never gave the beast a name other than his coat color.
