The arrival of the Romanovs

Hopping down out of the carriage, I smiled, feeling better away from the ocean if still a bit green. "Tell me, Alexei," I said, turning to help Antsalia and Svetlana out of the carriage, "If it's this warm now, do they actually get snow here? The books say so, but I can't imagine..."

“They get snow, but not like we do in Ruskovia,” I replied, grinning. “Imagine the second snow of autumn and that is the worst they get here.”

Alexei helped Olga out, and I turned to help usher my sisters in. I could do worse than follow Alexei's example. "Melt indeed," I replied to him with a laugh of my own. "And summer isn't even here yet. Do people around here go around scantily dressed in this climate?"

I couldn’t help the wolfish grin than rose at Fydor’s question. “Dear brother, there have been times when I wonder just how some of the pieces of clothing are actually staying up they are so scanty,” I answered, giving him a knowing wink.

My grinned widened. "I'm just glad you waited until our eldest sister was inside before imparting such important facts," I replied with a laugh.

“But of course,” I said with a laugh.

I motioned everyone inside. “Come, let’s get everyone settled in the rooms.”

I grinned without comment as I followed everyone inside; Fydor and Alexi already knew what I was thinking. Hell, my grin echoed Fydors at Alexeis comment.
