Finding a Distraction

Nodding in agreement, I took the book and added it to my stack- all of them were moderately thick and looked to be good reading. "Thank you- I think this should keep me occupied for at least the next week," I said with a smile.

I nodded, I knew it, she was bored of me.
"Are you free for lunch?" I asked turning into her. "If its not too much of an imposition."

I thought quickly- did I have any plans for that day? This was the one person in the entire City I'd met and I wasn't about to make him feel as though he were a nuisance. Besides, I rather liked the company of his shy charm. "I'm free," I said, grinning.

I smiled feel my unease wanning.
"Excellent, do you have a preferance of places?"

Shaking my head, I said, "No, not at all- I don't know the City at all really."

Once I reached the counter I set down my books, paid with a nod and a slight smile, and then picked back up my purchases. ""Where do you want to go?"

I shrugged as well, guiding her outside the book store I said.
"Desir? I hear its nice."

Nodding in aquiescence I said with a smile, "I guess there is only one way to find out."

I smiled and after paying I guided her outside and toward Desir.
