"This would bring out the green in your eyes," I offered up the vest I had fingered earlier. I wondered what I was missing as they shot each other amused glances. "Though not knowing the inventory, I couldn't offer a suggestion for the whole package, as you put it."

I chuckled. "Well your opinion is improtant. Some times these shoppe keeps will sell you anything just to make a profit." I pointed out with a gleeful grin.

"I'm sure that between the three of us we can keep the proprietor on the level," I replied, flashing him a grin, adding a smile for the quieter Quinn.

I returned Nyx's smile as I thumbed through the breeches, letting Justin take the lead on attracting Nyx’s attentions.

"Excellent." I said softly giving her a warm smile. "What else do you think would suit?"

"Well, to mix and match I would suggest basic breeches, much like my lord du Paras is looking at right now," I said, liking his smile. "And then finding different tops." I started to browse through the selection. "What are your house colours my lord?"

I nodded listening to her advice. "Red, brown and green." I said following her gaze to the items she was purusing.

"A rich brown jacket then?" I suggested, not seeing one immediately. "A light linen for the summer season that is fast approaching." I moved further down the row, running my finger idly along the hanging fabrics, then brought out one that fit the description. I eyed it for a moment, then replaced it. "Just not that one. It's from last summer." I took out the one next to the one I had just discarded and held it up for him with an inquiring gaze.

"I have no mind for cuts." I jested coming to her and looking over the jacket as I reached out and touched the sleeve. "What do you think Quinn?"

I’d been listening to their conversation as I sorted through the black breeches.
“I think that we are exceedingly lucky to have Nyx here to help us,” I said with a chuckle. “You’ve no mind for cuts and I’ve even less. With her help we might even leave here looking stylish.”

I smiled at the compliment, pleased at how well this was going. I would have made acquaintances, if not friends or patrons here today. Well, not yet.
"My lord is very kind," I said, still smiling.

"He is indeed." I said softly standing next to Nyx and looking at Quinn. "What would you choose for Lord Quinn?" I asked curiously.

I studied him for a moment. "Dark hair and light eyes, a tricky combination. Blues and blacks would certainly bring out the natural tones of your hair, though if you don't want to appear so sombre-" Or so Shahrizai "-I might also suggest a golden brown. Very suave, if done right."

“It is merely an idea my lord, but I would think a suit with a crisp white shirt beneath would be perfect for the coming summer months.” I said modestly. “I’m sure the clothier here could come up with something simple but elegant.”

“Huh,” I said thoughtfully. I wondered if Joie ever wished I wore something beyond my standard black and white. “I shall think on that, thank you. I have always stuck to black and white to make it easy, but one suit of another color couldn’t too hard, eh?” I grinned at her with the last.

I listened to the conversation between Quinn and Nyx. I had to envy Quinn, he seemed like quite a collected man, confident with a kind manner. Decidely I would have to watch Quinn, as a man soon to be Duc, surely I would have much to gain from his presence.

I smiled back. "I think you should be able to manage it my lord," I replied, a teasing note creeping into my voice.

“Yes perhaps I could,” I said with a chuckle.
I grinned at Justin and then looked back at the black breeches, knowing I would need some of them whether or not I bought a colored suit. I began pulling a couple pairs out and setting them aside.

I smiled to Justin. "You could do much the same my lord, though I would suggest more of a tan than a golden brown."

I watched Quinn grab a couple of breeches then looked to Nyx.
"May I help my lords?" One of the shoppe keeps interupted before I had a chance to answer Nyx but it was good that he was here.
"Yes, I'll take this one." I said pointing to the brown jacket that Nyx had suggested. "As well as a pair of green breeches and a pair of golden brown ones."
"Would you care to try them on?" He as after retrieving the pieces.
"Yes, actually." He nodded and I looked to Quinn and Nyx. "I quess we'll see if you were right." I winked then to Nyx.

"Your lack of faith in me is disheartening," I said with a grin. I stood out of the way of the shopkeeper, letting him see to the needs of the men now though I was staying to give an opinion.

“It’s not lack of faith, just a stubborn nature that’s resistant to change,” I replied, laughing. Another shop keep came over and looked at me, I handed him the breeches I’d pulled out and asked that they be set aside for now while I looked at shirts.

I chuckled and went to the dressing curtains. Changing into the brown breeches and the jacket as well as a shirt shirt I exited the curtains and looked at my shopping partners. "Well?"

The shopkeeper had down well, picking out a brown that matched the jacket, though a shade lighter. "You look stylish and ready to join the court mingling on the lawns of the palace," I said with a smile. "In my opinion," I added, not wanting to seem immodest.

"Excellent." I replied before returning to the divider. I returned to my street clothing and handed off the clothes to the keep.
"You have my thank madame Nyx."
