"Alright then," I said as the busers left and the server smiled to us. "It seems it's just lunch thank you." He nodded and handed me the bill, I took it and tossed the approriate coin down and smiled to the ladies.
"Off we go."

I stood as well and followed Evie taking Caraf's hand as I did, I smiled to her and kissed her cheek as we exited.

I squeezed Elliot's hand, leaning into him slightly as we walked, the feel of him pushing away the rest of the unpleasant feelings that had filled me.
